One of the most notable elements is the advanced vision systems, which enable the robots to handle unorganized components directly from pallets—a feature that both reduces manual lifting and streamlines the production flow.
During the innovative commissioning phase, Kilde Automation operated as a satellite production facility for a full 12 weeks. During this period, the system was fine-tuned while simultaneously delivering market-ready products to Kamstrup’s customers.
The result is a high-tech production solution that strengthens Danish competitiveness, brings production back home, and improves the working environment—and has now secured Kamstrup a place among the three nominees for the DIRA Automation Award 2025.
